On another note, even with the final retail version wf111v2 Lion, the client software exhibits the same behaviour as reported, unfortunately. Or sign in with one of these services. But, the problem remains the nwtgear – no luck with the WG adapter on Win 7.

Maybe post your setup info, such as whether you are using no encryption, wpa, wep, g or b, etc. Better than average range.
Message 2 of 7. I’ve seen that alot of Netgear wireless cards works with osx I haven’t tried the WGv2 with bit Windows 7, but it probably works fine, too.
Possible compatibility issue, some devices may not work for 64 bit even if there are drivers for it. I tried running the newly installed Smart Wizard but nothing happened when I double clicked except for a new process taking up RAM and processing power. I then unplugged the adapter from the USB slot and commenced installation. You might need to temporarily connect it via Ethernet cable. This is repeatable, and is definitely annoying, and since the behaviour occurs under the Gold Master, this indicates that the bug will be in the final code for Mac OS X Lion.

When the drivers are installed, you can immediately use them to connect to a wireless access point. No window appears, and the only options I get when I right click the icon is to force quit. If anyone can let us know what we can do that would be great! Or sign in with one of these services Sign in with Facebook. So i just got myself a dwl-g and with the ralink drivers it worked perfectly.

Does the client load? Every time i reboot the wireless adapter will seem to work for a couple of seconds then it will disconnect and i am unable to wgg111v2 i just installed leopard on a friends old dell its awesome let me know if you have any ideas.
Kucksy, That driver worked perfect. The windows device-driver area shows the new device with a mark that means the driver is a problem. I’m not at a stage where I could use my Wireless network using this adapter yet, as the driver isn’t identified on my computer.
